I’m working to capture beauty and moments that transcend our day-to-day imperfections. Playing a role in helping people feel better about themselves, and in helping them preserve memories – build their history – inspires me.
Oddly, one might say that I photograph as much with my ears as I do with my eyes. It’s the listening, the questions & answers, and the anticipation of expressions, responses and reactions that guide my work for you.
Appointments are never booked back-to-back, so you’ll never be waiting. The same is true for the presentation where you’ll see your finished images in a sight & sound projection display.
Who am I?
I am an odd mixture of: long-time husband (married young!), son, father of two, lover of marriage, artist, teacher (formal & informal), pet enthusiast, swimmer, cyclist, coffee-snob-in-recovery, and mid-century modern guy before mid-century modern was cool. To some an enigma; to others, a paradox of mystery (it’s okay to roll your eyes). To most, I’m slightly goofy, but one who takes his craft very seriously.
You’ll always get me, Bradford Jones, working with you during your exclusive session. The time is set aside just for you, and you alone. The session revolves around your needs and your comfort level. The clock isn’t being watched. I’m not high stress. Many of my clients have said I have a calming way of speaking and that I’m a natural with children. I might break a sweat while photographing, but we always keep it fun and personal on both sides of the camera.
Who I Like to Work With
Being in front of the camera is not easy for most people. That’s exactly the kind of person I specialize in helping. Beyond pre-interviews and consultations, I regularly put myself in front of other photographers’ cameras in order to stay connected to what you are experiencing, and to stay attuned to your feelings. I get to know my clients and create images of them based on who they are and what they want their photographs to say.
